How I Got Lost.

Here Comes Tsh.

I can’t take the pessism. I just can’t. I don’t want to surround myself with people that have too much baggage. I don’t want stupid drama in my life. Yes, it made life a lot more interesting in Secondary School, what with all the backstabbing, jealousy and rumors, but I’m done. Last Friday changed my life. Literally. She said we could do it, and I believed her. She said we don’t have to worry about a thing. All we need to do is focus, and she’d take care of everything else. I believed her. I’m changing. I’m going to work my fucking ass off. Yes I am.

Went to JE library to do that stupid RWP project thingamajig. I came late. Ahhh whatever. We sort of finished. We just have to finalize a couple more things. So guess who we saw roaming around the library? SUSAN : ) Okay, so she wasn’t roaming around. She was trying to find a place to sit so she could study. We ate lunch after. Okay, here comes the shocking part. I ATE AN INTESTINE TODAY! Haha. It was a dare. They told me that if I didn’t, I wasn’t a man. Haha. I wanted to prove that I was a man. I ate pork intestine. IT TASTES LIKE SOMEONE FUCKING FARTED IN MY MOUTH! It was all squishy. SQUISHY, GOD DAMN IT. Fuck, I felt like throwing up there and then, but I didn’t.

I only agreed to do it for two reasons.

  1. To show them that I was a man.
  2. Susan said if I ate it, she would eat pork liver, which she really really really really really hates.

So it was a win-win thing afterall. Urgh, the taste was just mafarkin disgusting. There are only three types of pork I don’t mind eating. BBQ, roasted or charsiew. Other than that, pork=fucking crap. Oh well, at least it proves I got some balls.

P.S. Jon and YJ are trying to get me to eat duck. NEVER! I don’t care what they say. They can call me gay, they can call me stupid, they can call me a loser, but I ain’t eating no Daffy.

Where’s My Mail, Sexy?

Posted in Education, Friends, Random Thoughts by Satish Vijay on April 22, 2009

So Polytechnic life has been growing on me. I know, I know, it’s only been a week. Wait, correction… It’s been a week and three days. Anyways, yeah, it’s been getting better. The friends part and stuff. The classes are okay I guess. I can’t say much about it this week, cause it’s my first week, so the teacher’s haven’t been piling us up with loads of work. So wait three weeks, and I’ll let you know. Oh my god, and I just love the fact that I have so much food to choose from. I’m eating too much now. My workout sessions are getting shorter now. Shit.

Okay, besides school, I’ve been anxiously waiting for my mail. Haha. What mail? Well, there’s this girl… what’s her name again? Oh…. Sexy Wanqin! Haha. Well, Sexy Wanqin sent me this letter the old-fashioned way. Snail mail. It’s expected to be in my mailbox either today, tomorrow or Friday.

Don’t Forget.

Okay, so school’s started. Well, not exactly. The orientation was this week. Classes and stuff officially start next week.
Wait….. my thoughts are all jumbled up. Let’s do this in an orderly fashion.

1. I checked out my school schedule online. It’s pretty interesting. Thursdays are going to be tiring though. Lessons end early on Wednesday and Friday, thus making myself available to do Tennis as my CCA.

2. Last Friday was rough. When I said bye to Aqilah. Very emotional. I knew we would be seeing each other soon. It’s just that, during the holidays I was so used to seeing her at least once every week. Now, what with school and all, I’ll see her much less. Furthermore, she isn’t much of a fan on cellphones, so it’s difficult to contact her. Some part of me feels like I’ve lost a best friend.

3. My class. Very different from my Secondary School class. So far, they’ve been nice to me. But it’s difficult to socialize with them, for me. I mean, I guess it’s because I pretty much suck at making friends. Like, seriously. I really do suck in making friends. When I’m with them, I’m constantly trying to come up with a topic to talk about. And it’s difficult. I’m so used to talking to Wanqin and Aqilah about random things. We don’t have to think of what to say next. The conversations we have are easy.

4. I really need to socialize more. Be more fun. My new classmates are nice. They seem to be able to talk to one another like they’ve known each other for ages.

7. After Flag Day, I met up with Shi Ning, Zhi Siong and Li Ying. We went to the Freshman Orientation party for awhile. Ate some food. I’m never one to pass up an opportunity to eat food free-of-charge. How Singaporean of me. It was nice seeing them. But it just feels like we’ve drifted apart, in a way. It’s not like last time. I guess Zhi Siong’s got his new friends, so has Shi Ning. They say they want to meet up more in the future to study or just hang out, and I just nod my head in agreement. But obviously, probably when we meet, one won’t be able to make it, then when we try to meet on another occasion, another probably won’t be able to make it too, and eventually, we just forget about the idea of meeting up and we gradually stop talking to each other, except for the occasional “Hello” when we walk past one another in the hallway or something.

8. Thank you to Wanqin. God damn it. She’s amazing. I seriously would not have been able to make it through this week without her. The frequent text messages. Keeping me updated on her life. Giving me pep talks on how I’ll be able to make friends and that I shouldn’t worry. I fucking miss sitting next to her in class and laughing at the fact that she can never zip up her pencil case properly (Inside joke) or how beautiful and big her pink bra is (Another inside joke). I miss talking about her drama group and my “best friend” and how “lovely” he is to me. Haha. It could be said that Wanqin is, not only my best friend/brother, but also my own personal therapist (:

9. Twitter has been very addictive lately.

10. At the beginning of last week, I weighed in at 60 KG. Today, I weight 57 KG. Yes, I’ve lost 3 KG in one week. And I’m happy that I lost the weight. But I’m totally confused at the fact that I look much fatter than last week. Someone, please explain to me how this is possible?

JAE Results.

Posted in Education by Satish Vijay on January 31, 2009

I turned on my cellphone yesterday morning and there were like twenty text messages asking me what school and course I got into. As I searched through the messages, I couldn’t find the one with my JAE results. Then about a half an hour later (8:30 AM) I received this text saying that I got accepted into Singapore Polytechnic’s Biotechnology.

My reaction? I started screaming “FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! SHIT! FUCK! STUPID SHIT! FUCK! DAMN SHITTY FUCKBALLS!”  (real classy, i know)

I really wanted Biomedical Science. Biotechnology was my third choice. Biomedical (Singapore Polytechnic) was my first and Biomedical (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) was my second.

Yeah, you’re probably wondering why I chose Biotechnology if I didn’t like it. Well, I didn’t really like any other course except for Biomedical Science. So basically, my 3rd to 12th choice were not of my greatest interest.

I went to the Singapore Polytechnic website and I looked up more on the course (something I should’ve done way way way earlier). Well, it turns out that Biotechnology is basically more about the plants, cells and DNA. Now, I’m scared because those were the topics that I weren’t good at in Biology.

There’s no point appealing.  The chances are very slim. Oh well. I mean, in a way I should be grateful right? Because I managed to get into Singapore Polytechnic. It’s like the best Polytechnic. And Biotechnology is a good course , or so I’ve heard.
