How I Got Lost.

Healthy Obsessions.

Paolo Nutini (2) Val Emmich, Reubix Cube

I’m coming down with this whole obsessing thing again. Some beautiful indie pop. Paolo Nutini, Val Emmich, Cat Power, and Florence + The Machines.

So, Val acts too. He played Jesse from Ugly Betty. You know that neighbour Betty had a crush on, but he made out with Amanda although he was flirting with Betty, then Betty realized he was so self obsessed with himself and he couldn’t stop talking about himself that she just gave up on the whole idea….. You know? HAHA. I miss Ugly Betty. Okay, but that’s not the point. The point is, he sings really good. I got a hold of his album. Little Daggers. Some real good shit.

Then there’s Paolo. He sings that song New Shoes. You know the one in that TV ad for Puma???????????????? YOU KNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW?????

Then there’s Cat Power. My favorite song is Troubled Waters. It plays at the end of Perfect Stranger. That movie Halle Berry acts in.

Then there’s Florence + The Machines. Heard them on that British Top 20 thing on 98.7 FM, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

And a lot of their music is indie pop. Indie pop is fuck good.

Videos another time. I’m too lazy to post them up now.
& what’s so cool is that I have all their albums. WOOFUCKINGHOO.

& So the free promotion continues 😀

Enjoy. The acoustic version is wayyyyyy better than the original. Well, that’s my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Oh, and the song’s called The Girls. It’s by Calvin Harris.

Use Your Ears. Use Your Eyes. Shut Your Mouth.

Matthew Perry on Letterman, promoting his new flick 17 Again. Love his Dustin Hoffman impression.

Susan Boyle. Practically everyone’s heard of her by now. She’s just awesome!

Another Britain’s Got Talent contestant. 12 year old Shaheen Jafargholi.

Demi Lovato’s Don’t Forget performance on Ellen. Sort of addicted to this song. But I find it very reminiscent of that Fort Minor song. Think it’s called Where’d You Go or something.

This fat baby laughing for no reason. SOOO FUNNY!

Last video. I know this is a pretty old video (maybe 2 years or something), but it’s real good. Diana Krall singing Cry Me A River. Really nice.

Quickie.

I just got back from the outing with Wanqin. I’ll do a proper post either later or tomorrow, because now I’m going to Queensway with my brother. I just had to let you listen to this song. It’s magnificent. It’s actually a cover of Ride With Me by Nelly. I original version was nice, but this cover is just awesome. Like, totally better than the original version. The cover is done by this indie band called I Call Shotgun.

John Mayer with Elmo. Adorable.

John Mayer and Ellen singing in the bathroom.

A beautiful cover of Rihanna’s Don’t Stop The Music by The Bird And The Bee. I have it on repeat.
